Addictive 2D puzzle game

Tasty Planet is a 2D puzzle game inspired by Katamari Damacy. You play as a nameless blob of goo with an insatiable desire to absorb everything in your path – including people, animals, aliens and objects. Each time you absorb something, you grow in size, allowing you to go after even bigger targets. The premise may sound a bit grim – like some 80s horror movie – but it’s all delivered in a light, comical way. And with 60 levels, more than 140 objects and multiple game modes, there’s plenty of gameplay to enjoy.

Grow your goo

Gameplay is organised into levels based on the size of your goo; once you hit a certain size, you’ll advance to the next stage of your development. So, as you grow, you’ll progress from a lowly dust eater to a mammoth planet destroyer. Occasionally, the game will throw a curveball to add difficulty. For example, you might encounter hostile objects that can eat you as long as you’re smaller than them. At other times, you’ll face enemies – like the police and tanks – that shoot projectiles, which have the effect of reducing your size. Adapting to these opponents involves skill and adds variety to the game.

Casual game for all ages

The game’s levels are simple, usually consisting of a square space with creatures and objects scattered throughout. The straightforward level design, concept and controls combine to create an addictive game players of all ages can enjoy.
